In 2011, after 16+ years as a pioneering UX design leader, strategist, and speaker, Sarah founded Radically Human to address the unmet needs of UX Leaders. With expertise in innovation process, design thinking, and relationship systems coaching, Radically Human coaches and trains diverse teams from Fortune 100 companies, growth-stage startups, and world-class design agencies.

Sarah is a popular speaker at design and UX conferences where she conducts workshops on emotional literacy in creative leadership, facilitating collaborative creativity, change leadership, and the well-designed team.

As a creative leader, Sarah was the Principal of User Experience at Hot Studio, a Design Strategist and Project Lead at Adaptive Path, and Director of User Experience at POP! Sarah holds a Master of Design Methods (MDM) from the Institute of Design in Chicago, where she specialized in the impact of team dynamics on innovation processes. As a designer and strategist since 1994, Sarah has developed product strategies and digital experiences for clients including Nike, The Metropolitan Opera, Skype, Vanguard Funds, PayCycle, Zappos, Intel, and The Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. She has coached UX teams at United Airlines, Walmart Labs, Zappos, Citrix Online, Trek, Eventbrite, Riot Games, Autodesk, Lush Cosmetics, nForm, and Mozilla to help them advance their UX practices.

A classically trained violinist and fine art photographer, Sarah graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy and received a Bachelors of Art from Oberlin College in visual arts and electronic music. Sarah is also a practicing co-active coach and is has studied Organizational Relationship Systems Coaching extensively at the Center for Right Relationship.

Dene Rogers
Coach and Facilitator
Dene is a coach, facilitator and consultant who supports leaders in the Tech industry to create resilient, high performing and collaborative teams. She helps companies unlock their workforce potential by coaching leaders and teams in effective communication, conflict resolution, visioning and strategic planning and creating a positive work environment that fosters healthy, cohesive, productive and creative teams.

Dene spent 15 years working in corporate environments on cross-functional teams across the globe – including South Africa, the UK and the United States. She’s experienced first hand what it is like to work in diverse countries, cultures and companies spanning various industries on the consultant as well as the client side. Most recently she’s worked for PayPal and then Yahoo! supporting market research functions before deciding to pursue her interest in cultivating the personal and professional development of up-and-coming leaders in technology. She works with individuals as well as teams to become more skillful in navigating the constantly changing environment in which employees live and work today. She helps teams become more elastic and better able to move beyond everyday stressors to achieve outstanding performance.

Dene has been coaching since 2008 and is a certified Organizational and Relationship Systems Coach. She also received training in the Co-Active Coaching model. She is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Dene received a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Psychology and Political Science from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, as well as a Marketing Certificate from the Institute of Marketing Management, Cape Town, South Africa.
