Product Launch Producer
Radically Human is seeking an experienced Product Launch Producer to plan, oversee and execute every detail of our first major product launch for a 6-month live, educational program. We have the strategy, we have the vision — but we need you to make sure the program is launched and filled without a hitch. This will be fast, furious — but fun, exciting and in support of a meaningful mission (see www.radicalvisionary.com).
This 30-40 hour per week contract position starts March 2, 2015 and lasts until approximately May 15, 2015 (with possible extension). You’ll work independently from your own home in the Bay Area but will need to be able to get into the city for meetings and video shoots. Requires your own equipment. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Plan, oversee and produce a video-rich, pre-launch site by April 1 that gets potential applicants excited about the program and engages them with valuable educational content.
Plan, oversee, execute, support, and troubleshoot a successful open and close cart (from April 14 to May 1) refining experience (messaging, social media, customer service, etc) as necessary until program is full (15 people).
Create and document a repeatable system for future launches of the same program.
You have outrageous (and maybe a little scary) organizational skills, a meticulous attention to detail, can break down any strategy into an efficient, step-by-step plan and get ‘er done.
You can spin creative gold with a teensy budget.
You can find and coordinate a team of remote people, and have them operating at the top of their game — fast.
You solve problems in your sleep – strategically, creatively, and with the agility of a gazelle.
You love detective work. You can break down any problem into its parts, find the source of the problem, and creatively work through it.
You have no problem committing to action and accepting accountability — you don’t even get people who can’t.
You measure results and are metrics-minded. You give reports without even being asked.
You hate micro-management, are self-driven, self-motivated, ambitious.
You believe that people together go further — and you collaborate honestly, firmly, and with respect. You have no problem both giving and receiving direction.
You have a modern aesthetic sense, write like a champion, and can spot a typo from 20,000ft (or can find someone who can).
Portfolio of successful, high-converting digital launch funnels — on-time, under budget
Experience with education-based product launch approaches (a la Jeff Walker)
Understanding of how to structure and manage drip content
Video production/post-production skills (or access to dependable, affordable people who can make this happen)
Local to Bay Area and/or knowledgeable of Bay Area production locations/resources
Able to be onsite in SF for video shoot
On-call availability during launch period April 14-30 to troubleshoot, moderate comments, put out fires, re-tool strategy/tactics, answer questions, etc
